Group Requirements
GUPPIE
- Float on back
- Submerge body and head for 2 seconds
- Float with arms on the gutter and kick in place
- Be able to propel themselves forward on their stomachs with kick/arms (assisted)
- Respond to verbal instructions
Goals:swim the entire 25 off the blocks (free and back)
GOLDFISH
- Kick down and back with a kickboard
- Swim a full 25 free unassisted
- Swim a full 25 back unassisted
- Respond to verbal instructions
Goals:Add either 25 breast or 25 fly
kick on back in streamline length of pool
STARFISH
- Kick on back in streamline length of pool
- Be able to swim 2 of 4 strokes legally
- Working on 2 other strokes
- Swim repeated 25s on a rest interval (10-15 s)
Goals:Swim a 50 free
Learn to do a freestyle flip turn
Legal in all four strokes
DOLPHIN
- 50 Free
- 50 Back
- All four strokes legal or in the process of becoming legal
- Swim repeated 25s of stroke on a rest interval (10-15s)
Goals:Complete 100IM
Freestyle and Backstroke Flip turn
